Stretch-bend-levelling lines
Stretch-bend-levelling represent a technique by which thin and the very thinnest metal strips may be levelled. Due to the superimposition of tension and bending during the levelling process, material parameters such as yield point, elongation, spring back value may be set and internal stress reduced. Even strip form deviations are minimised. These include waviness, cross bow, coil set and camber. Due to coil improvements, major benefits are also achieved for further processing, i.e. deep-drawing properties and the precision form of the finished products. In the case of surface coatings, narrower layer tolerances are achieved, punching strokes per minute increased and a longer tool life assured.
